March 2015: AMX in Malaysia
After an initial online demo and successful technical meeting in Malaysia, we’re very excited to be working with Gamlite IT providing the integrated asset management system for The Sultan Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah Bridge or Penang Second Bridge. This is a 24km dual carriageway toll bridge in Penang, Malaysia that connects Bandar Cassia in Seberang Perai on mainland Peninsular Malaysia with Batu Maung on Penang Island.
AMX will be the central management system used for the preventative maintenance programme and as a decision support tool for the term of the project. Assets being managed include over 16.9km of marine viaducts and cable stayed bridge, 7km of land expressway, Mechanical & Electrical components such as street lighting and cables, landscape and building management.
This is the perfect project for AMX, demonstrating its expanding capabilities beyond individual structures to include the full scope of infrastructure projects and taking advantage of AMX mobile for increased efficiency.
Full details of the project will be available in a case study shortly. To request your copy when its available please email helen.lake@amxsolutions.co.uk.
