Environmental Incident System for Natural Resources Wales

We are pleased to announce that we’re working with Natural Resources Wales on a second project to customise and develop a system for their Incident Management team. NRW will be using AMX to record and assess reported incidents from the general public and emergency services ensuring NRW are able to resolve issues quickly and efficiently. These incidents range from illegal fishing and illegal dumping of hazardous waste to reports of serious flooding and everything in between!

7 Day Week in Malaysia….

One of our team spent 2 weeks in Malaysia helping GamliteIT finalise AMX configuration for the Jambatan Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah (2nd Penang Bridge Crossing) project.  Top of the list were condition surveys, life cycle planning for buildings, bridges and highways. And accident reporting on our Android Application was further developed.  This is a huge time-sensitive project and with AMX already being used we’re happy to work over the weekend to keep it on track, especially when we can enjoy views like this.

AMX/BMX User Group

We were grateful to Rochdale Borough Council for hosting our User Group in the Victorian-era Town Hall (shown above).  Over 18 clients attended to network and see a demonstration of AMX Mobile and an introduction to AMX web version with guest speakers from Natural Resources Wales and Scottish Canals talking about how they successfully manage Flood & Linear Assets with AMX.  The day was a great success with lots of positive feedback.

AMX Upgrade Update

Both Rochdale Borough Council and Worcestershire County Council have successfully upgraded from BMX to AMX for the management of their bridge assets.  We’re partway through another 6 upgrades with 3 currently undergoing client testing and 3 being configured with migrated data ready for validation. Rest assured we are methodically working through our client list to upgrade everyone in a controlled manner.
