New Sector: Street Lighting
We have been working hard with our Highways and Bridges customer, City of Cardiff Council, to develop a solution for Street Lighting management. Leveraging the core functionality of AMX along with the familiar look and feel, AMX for Street Lighting will be available as an addition to existing implementations or as a stand-alone solution. Formal testing is about to commence with delivery to City of Cardiff Council for review shortly after.

Events & Conferences
We were pleased to participate in Bridges 2016 at the Ricoh Arena in March and the Floodex conference in Coventry in May. Both events were a good opportunity to meet up with existing clients and showcase the new AMX Flood to new clients, which received a good level of interest.
Our next big event is a first for us, as we’ve been invited by our customer Scottish Canals to the World Canal Conference on 19-22 September in Inverness. We’re looking forward to collaborating with them on various subjects at the event.

AMX Upgrade Update
Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council have successfully upgraded from BMX to AMX for the management of their bridge assets.
During upgrades from BMX to AMX we have received plenty of valid feedback points, which we are currently working through to improve AMX. We’re partway through another 8 upgrades with 5 currently undergoing client testing. Rest assured we are methodically working through our client list to upgrade everyone in a controlled manner. AMX Continues to Improve
Most recently we’ve been working hard with our map interface on AMX so that, with our latest version of AMX, you can now define colour, style (e.g. dashed, see right) and width of lines used to display your linear assets. If you’re interested in this and need some help (or with any functionality) then please contact support@amxsolutions.co.uk.
For all AMX users – have you registered yourself on our free support website yet http://support.assetmanagementexpert.com/support/login
This enables you to access to a huge number of helpful articles and online support tools.

And Finally, Competition Time!
Here at AMX we’ve seen a lot of corporate gifts/gadgets over the years but we’re asking you to have a think and then e-mail us at info@amxsolutions.co.uk with the freebie that you liked the best, found most useful or would like to receive in future. It’s not limited to the examples in the photo…. In fact, we love you to come up with something different from the usual gimmicks! And if we use your idea then we’ll send you one free!
